Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos

To have a fight with its competitors SAMSUNG has launched a new phone in the market, Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos. It has a 5 inch display with 480x800 pixel (~187ppi pixel density), 1.2Ghz dual core processor, 1 GB ram and runs on 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

With this configuration this phone works very smoothly and switching between the applications is very fast. Till yet I have not seen any hanging problem.

As this smart phone is available for Rs 21,500 in the market, there is another phone Micromax a116 CANVAS HD with little advance features at a much lower price. It would be interesting to see how much SAMSUNG will be successful to keep this phone in the market without making any change.

After a great success of Samsung galaxy s series they are going to launch an astonishing superphone SAMSUNG GALAXY S IV in this series with very amazing features.  It is expected that the Galaxy S IV will tote a near 5-inch display with full HD (1920x1080) resolution. There are also talks of 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear camera.

            There is the news that Samsung is developing 8-arm processor. The Korean company said that the processor will be ready by 2013. It would be amazing to see if Samsung will use the 8-ARM processor with Galaxy s IV or not.

MICROMAX A116 (a.k.a Canvas HD)

Micromax have added a new phablet to their series of phablets named as MICROMAX A116 also known as CANVAS HD. It is the successor of MICROMAX A110 (CANVAS HD). It is their first phone in the quad-core series. This smartphone will cost around Rs 15000 in the market which is very cheap as compared to other quad-core phones which are in the market by other major brands. This phone will be available on many online shopping stores from the first week of Feb and you can place orders for it after Republic day.
